The Wye Nursery

The Wye Nursery opened in 1982 and was extended and refurbished in 2005 by Maria and Marcus Wrinch. It operates within the city of Hereford and is close to all local amenities. The setting serves the local and wider communities. The Nursery is registered on the Early Years Register and both the compulsory and voluntary parts of the Childcare Register.

The whole building (and extensive gardens) are dedicated as a Children’s Nursery, with a maximum of 40 Children per Day. This has ensured that the special Family atmosphere is protected from over expansion and has also seen improved facilities for both learning and playing. Babies from 6 Months through to Children of 5 Years, may attend for a variety of sessions.

The Nursery employs 17 members of staff who work with the children. All members of the team are qualified with Nursery Assistants having NVQ II or NVQ III. All supervisors having NVQ III or NNEB.

The setting receives support from the local authority.

 

 

The Nursery is open each week day from 0800 to 1730 all year round, except for Bank Holidays and Christmas Week.
